Service Policy
90-Day Warranty
At Joe Appliance Repair, you will have a worry-free repair process. Our 90 day warranty covers any repair in which a part is installed. This includes the trip charge, diagnostic fee, labor charges, and part cost. We will replace any parts that fail due to part defects or poor workmanship. Parts will only be replaced if appliance failure is related to the original repair. If a return trip is required for warranty work, an appointment will be scheduled at our earliest convenience. If the new appointment is 90 days past the original appointment, the customer is expected to pay another deposit and diagnostic fee. If we deem the work pertains to the original complaint, the customer will be fully credited for the deposit.
Paid In Full
Any remaining balance needs to be "paid in full" after the repair is done or the 90-day warranty will be void after 7 days.
Our Service Call Windows
Our service call windows are four hour windows. Our service call windows are as follows:
8:00am - 10:00pm, 10:00am - 12:00pm, 12:00pm - 2:00pm, and 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Due to the nature of the business, we are unable to narrow this time frame. You will be notified via text message and email on the status of your appointment, including when the technician is en-route and onsite at your service location. You are always welcome to call our office to get an update about your possible service time. Our service call window is when we arrive at the service address, not when we finish a repair or diagnostic.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Fee
If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require a notice by 4:00pm the day prior to your scheduled appointment. This does not include weekends or holidays. If we arrive at the home and we are not able to complete the scheduled appointment due to inability to communicate with the customer or gain access to the home, you will be charged a trip charge of $97.95. You will need to call or schedule online a new appointment and pay another deposit of $97.95.
If a customer chooses to deny a part installation after we receive a signature of approval, they will be charged a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping cost.
Refrigerator Diagnostic
With any refrigeration not cooling, we add a piercing valve to access the system and connect our gauges for reading pressures and check refrigerant level.
Miscellaneous Information
When working with a business or a landlord, we require a card on file at the time the appointment is made. As soon as the repair is complete, the business or landlord will be charged immediately for the remainder of the bill.
If a technician finds the appliance dismantled in any capacity, this immediately voids our warranty and the customer is expected to put the unit back together. However, the customer can request we put the appliance back together. This still voids the warranty and a separate quote may be written depending on how much additional work is needed.
In order for the warranty to be valid, the customer must provide the original part for the technician the same day we arrive to diagnose the issue.
